Hey all! So I wanted to touch on this because I hear this ALL the time: "I wish I could get into a workout routine like you, but I just don't have the time to get to the gym." WHAT??? What?! Lol NO.
Everyone on this earth has time.We literally have the same amount of time in a day. We ALL have 24 hrs / day.
We have the freedom to decide where we apply our minutes in a day; and we make time for things that are important to us.
You say, "But I have a full time job, a family, etc. AND??? I know a lot of people that are much busier than you, who still make time for keeping fit. It is a lifestyle choice. It is a CHOICE. You have to CHOOSE to do it. Every day you get to choose.
Yes, you may work 9-5, come home and have to cook dinner for your family- but I know there are at least 2 hours in the evening that you have to watch TV... or you always have the choice to wake up early and workout before you start your day (My favorite way to do it)
And no- It isn't easy. If it was, then everyone would do it! It is going to add time onto your day, it is going to be a pain at first, you are going to want to hit snooze on your alarm clock.... But it is worth it. I promise.
Fitness and health have changed my life so much, that they are huge priorities to me now. I no longer look at them as things I HAVE to do or NEED to do, I don't gripe my way to the gym. I WANT to do these things! They make me better. They make me happier. They make me stronger. Physically, mentally- you name it.
So even when I am away from my home gym and yoga studios, I make the time. Even on vacation! I don't look at staying fit as a job, it is a lifestyle choice. I choose it.
I stay at the gym so much, that sometimes it's nice to be away from any equipment. It forces you to do other workouts you normally wouldn't. Which means it kicks your butt! I love coming up with fun new circuit style workouts when I'm away from home. Here is my latest one from when I was in Cape Coral. Added plus- it was warm and humid, which amped up the sweat factor. No gym, no equipment full body workout- You can easily do this at home, or like me- get outside!! By the end I was soaked with sweat- Do it once thru for a quickie, or repeat until fail if you're a beast! #LetsGetIt #TrainingWithVox TeamNoDaysOff *Video Below**
